Another incredible high school football playoff game this Friday night and it’s two storied Delaware County programs battling in the District-1 5A semifinals at George L. King Field in Wallingford.
Academy Park (Sharon Hill) at Strath Haven.
Featuring two of the top and legendary high school football coaches in PA.
Academy Park is looking for its 5th trip to the District-1 championship game. They are 3-1 in D-1 title contests (2013 beat Glen Mills, 22-14, 2015 beat Upper Moreland, 26-14, 2016 beat Springfield-Delco, 24-16, 2019 lost to Cheltenham, 43-42) Coach Jason Vosheski 17th season, 131-65, 3 District-1 championships and 3 trips to PIAA state tournament.
Strath Haven looking for its 13th trip to D-1 championship game and 1st since 2010. (1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2010). Panthers 11-1 in D-1 title games.
