Split titles in the Central League have become the norm, and the schedule makers do no favors this year for the hopes of the league banner remaining whole.

It’s hard not to find the omissions on the schedule between the expected top teams. Garnet Valley and Strath Haven, for instance, don’t play each other. Nor do Springfield and Ridley. Nor Ridley and Strath Haven. About the only projected contender that plays all the others is Haverford, which might have a justifiable bone to pick with said imaginary schedule makers.
The schedule also doesn’t offer much in the way of cross-conference clashes. Week 1 opens with a few of the usual nonleague affairs – Penncrest-Sun Valley, Strath Haven-Interboro, Radnor-Chichester – but there’s only one really intriguing nonleague battle between Delco teams after that until we hit Thanksgiving.
