It was a hot and very humid morning as the Strath Haven Panthers faced off against a good West Chester East team in the morning 90 minute scrimmage.
Both teams looked solid as East started on offense. After 10 plays East had some good gains but failed to score. The Panthers took over and after some small gain starts began to see more daylight and attempted a few passes which found its way into the end zone.
Both teams were crisp with few errors such as fumbles or missed hand-offs. The Junior Varsity also looked good particularly on offense.
Haven’s varsity secured three scores to West Chester one while the Haven JV succeeded in one score, same as West Chester’s JV.
About 150 fans were in attendance.
