The Haven freshman football team lost a close, hard fought game against Upper Darby, 24-7.
Haven took a late second quarter lead 7-6, with tough running by Will Taylor, Connor Kelly and John Bonhomme.
The defense forced many turnover on downs with strong play by Logan Knaub, Shane Flanigan and free safety Carmelo Tull.
Next game is at Springfield, Wednesday 3:45.
