Today the Haven freshman team lost to Marple Newtown 14-12.
It was a very even match up between two good teams.
Haven went up 6-0 with a great throw from Matt Tamayo to Owen Stancill, who out ran everyone down the sideline for the touchdown. Haven took the lead again with a tremendous drive which was capped off by Quinn Hogarth running off tackle for Haven second touchdown.
Marple has a great drive of their own to tie the game at 12-12, and then converts the two point conversion to take the lead.
Haven then had a turnover on downs the next drive, and Marple runs out the clock.
