Strath Haven came out strong against Ridley, opening the game with a physical first drive powered by fullback Zach Farabaugh to find the end zone. The defense kept Ridley off the scoreboard throughout the first half, setting the tone for a dominant team performance.

Coming out of halftime, Haven’s defense made an immediate impact, forcing a safety on Ridley’s opening drive. On the ensuing kickoff, kicker #8 Josiah Phillips delivered a big return that sparked the Haven offense. From there, Strath Haven took control, scoring 34 unanswered points in the second half to secure a commanding 42–0 victory.

Haven’s offense continued to apply pressure, pounding the ball on the ground while making plays through the air. Defensively, Lincoln Barton delivered a pick-six, Andrew Schuster recorded an interception, and Connor Glacken recovered a fumble to help fuel the shutout. It was a complete team effort, with Haven controlling the game on both sides of the ball.

Player Spotlight: Connor Glackin

After missing the previous six games due to an ankle injury suffered during the preseason scrimmage against Avon Grove, Connor Glacken made his return to the field against Ridley and immediately made his presence felt with a fumble recovery. After weeks of rehabilitation and preparation, Glacken seized his opportunity and contributed to a dominant defensive performance. His return is a testament to his resilience, determination, and commitment to getting back on the field.
