Strath Haven freshman football team started the season with an exciting win over Academy Park 13-12.
Outstanding defensive pressure all game by Enzio Colletti and Nick Farabaugh.
Greyson LaFrance scored the first touchdown which tied the game at 6-6 and Benn Mansor kicked the point after to put Haven up 7-6.
Academy Park scored on a long pass to go up 12-7 at halftime.
With 1:30 left on the clock, Luke Mulhern hit tight end Enzio Colletti in the end zone for a 25 yard touchdown pass, putting Haven up 13-12.
Haven stopped Academy Park in four plays which ended the game.
Great team effort to start the season!
