The Freshman football team ended their season on Wednesday with an exciting, hard-fought loss to Springfield, 28-14.
Owen Logue played his best game of the season at quarterback, and Logan Knaub scored both touchdowns for the Panthers in his first game playing halfback.
Connor Kelly once again led the Panthers in all phases of the game with great kick returns, clutch carries, and tackles.
The game was tied at halftime 14-14 but Haven couldn’t capitalize on two long drives and Springfield took advantage of two second-half turnovers, which turned into points, and held on for the win.
Haven finished the season 2-7.
