RADNOR — Landon Barlow was at the end of the metaphorical line to start Friday night’s game.

His Strath Haven football team opened its first series against Radnor with five rushes – no news there – from five different players. Barlow was the last to get the rock. His first carry was also the only one of his first three totes not to end with him handing the ball to an official in the end zone.

Barlow ran for three touchdowns in the first half, as Strath Haven’s backfield cavalcade dominated to the tune of 491 yards on 40 carries for a 56-6 win over Radnor.

Barlow had to wait his turn, however briefly, as did the Strath Haven offense at large in a scoreless game after one quarter. But he made the most of it. His first carry went for seven yards and one of Haven’s 21 first downs. Then came touchdown runs of 49, 13 and 18 yards within 10 minutes in the second quarter to stake the Panthers to a 21-6 edge.
