Haven freshman won a defensive battle against Ridley 10-9.
Ridley scored on a safety and then a long pass in the second quarter to go up 9-0 at the half.
Haven started their scoring when Greyson LaFrance wrapped up the Ridley quarterback in their own end zone scoring a safety (2 points).
Haven played terrific team defense with big plays made by Brady Nangle, Nick Farabaugh and Jared Craig.
Early in the fourth quarter Luke Mulhern threw a deep pass to Ryan Mudrick for a score. Greyson LaFrance then scored the two point conversion to go up 10-9.
The defense then stopped two Ridley drives to end the game.
Haven’s next game is at Bishop Shanahan, kickoff at 3:30.
