The Freshman football team lost a hard fought game to Springfield on Wednesday, 12-6.
A bad snap on a Springfield punt attempt gave Haven great field position to set up a quarterback sneak and touchdown from Luke Mulhern to put Haven up 6-0.
The defense gave a great effort all day against a very talented Springfield team, making the cougars work for both scores. The offense just could not muster up another scoring drive before the game ended.
The next challenge is Wednesday 3:45 at Lower Merion.
