Zach Farabaugh carrying the ball during this year’s scrimmage against Avon Grove

By Coach Duffault –
Strath Haven came out with energy and physicality, hustling through the first quarter to take an 8-0 lead behind a touchdown from Miles Moat.
Haven established its identity on the ground, consistently attacking Upper Darby with power and iso runs while showing flashes of the varsity team’s physical offensive style. Farabaugh ran extremely tough throughout the game, helping lead a physical Haven rushing attack.
Haven also found success through the air, connecting with Owen Miller on a 68-yard touchdown pass. Miller made his impact felt on defense as well, recording an interception early in the game that helped set the tone for the Haven defense.
Defensively, Haven was relentless, grabbing three interceptions against Upper Darby and proving to be a stopping force throughout the game.
It wasn’t a perfect performance. Haven put the ball on the ground three times and had its fair share of mistakes, but the team continued to battle, respond, and execute when it mattered most.
Final: Strath Haven 24, Upper Darby 6. A physical, hard-fought performance from start to finish.
