On Friday, November 13th, Strath Haven High School will partner with Phoenixville High School to honor our active military and veterans in pre-game ceremonies on King Field at Military Appreciation Night and to collection donations for the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).
The Wallingford-Swarthmore community is passionate about giving back to our nation’s service members – the few who fight to protect the freedom of this great country. Often times many of these inspiring individuals come home with wounds you can and can’t see, like a missing limb, combat stress, or depression. Because they’ve risked everything for us, Strath Haven Football is committed to raising awareness and funds for these wounded service members and their caregivers.
The Strath Haven football team is proud to host this event benefiting an organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Along with the Phoenixville football team, the Panthers are challenging themselves to help WWP reach this vision, with the community’s help.
WWP offers 20 holistic programs to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of charge and 100% of the funds raised through this event go directly to Wounded Warrior Project to help fuel these programs.
Please join our effort to honor our nation’s heroes by attending Friday’s game at King Field and supporting the WWP.
