Strath Haven freshman football came out firing on defense forcing Haverford to punt on the opening drive and immediately setting the tone for the game.
#6 Owen Miller delivered a pick-six, while Dom Diversa and Zach Farabaugh consistently brought pressure and found themselves making plays in Haverford’s backfield. Henry Miller was relentless along the defensive line, recording sacks and tackles for loss while making his presence felt throughout the game, recording12 tackles, 4 TFL’s.
Haven’s offense executed on its opening drive, jumping out to an 8-0 lead. Quarterback Nate Glowacki took it in himself for Haven’s first touchdown, while Myles Moat added another score to keep the momentum rolling.
In the third quarter Zach Farabaugh came up with a huge play against Haverford’s defense, breaking through for another Haven touchdown.
Haverford continued to battle and showed plenty of grit throughout the game but Haven’s defense ultimately closed the lid, preserving the shutout and keeping Haverford off the scoreboard.
When the final whistle sounded Strath Haven walked away with a hard-fought 26-0 victory
