Archbishop Carroll has hired Strath Haven legend and former NFL linebacker Dan Connor to be its new head football coach.
After retiring from football in 2013, Connor spent the last two years as an assistant coach at West Chester University.
“This is a great opportunity for me to coach at Archbishop Carroll with its rich history and excellence in both academics and athletics,” Connor said in a press release. “It felt like home the minute I walked into the school.”
Connor is the successor for Joe Powel, who was let go after five seasons at the Carroll helm.
