Finding people whose lives were touched by the work of Robert Ruoff at District One is not a difficult task.
Finding someone who can separate the entity from the man who was so instrumental in its operation for decades is well-nigh impossible.
The entire Delaware Valley sports community was saddened by Ruoff’s passing Thursday at age 85 after a brief illness. Funeral arrangements are pending.
To so many, Ruoff was the face and the beating heart of District One of the PIAA.
