Hero Bowl 2014

In what would have been the 44th annual Hero Bowl high school football game we have received word today that, due to Covid 19, the game has been cancelled.
The game consists of selected senior football players from public and private high schools throughout Delaware County to play an exhibition game as their final high school football game. Proceeds from the game support the college scholarship fund for the children of fallen police, fire and EMT personnel.
With all schools cancelled since early March and no current plans to re-start schools this year it is understandable that the game needed to be cancelled. The game is usually played the week before Memorial Day.
