Upper Darby dominated the game from start to finish with a convincing 30-0 victory giving the Panthers their first loss of the season. Koll Peichel played well on both sides of the ball supported by Alex Shehadi who also had a strong game on offense and defense.
The JV Panthers traveled out to Radnor for the game with lots of room on the bus. The Panthers only had 14 healthy players for the game, but decided it was important to try and play.
And play they did, to the tune of a 28-26 victory over Radnor.
Jason Stone had two huge receptions during the game but none larger then the one that put the Panthers ahead with just 19 ticks of the clock left in the game.
Jaris Adams scored 3 times and ran hard throughout the game supported by great blocking from the offensive line. Jack Ryder, under constant pressure, completed crucial passes throughout the contest. Alex Hemmenway also ran hard and picked up some crucial first downs for the Panthers.
Defensively Chris Willette and Will Grahm both had interceptions thwarting Radnor drives. An exciting game and one the boys will be sure to remember.
They’ll play Ridley at home next Monday at King Field.
