Strath Haven’s Sam Milligan, Bo and Kelly Ryan Scholar-Athlete of the Year

The PA Sports Hall of Fame/Delaware County Chapter will hold its first All Sports Scholar-Athlete Banquet, 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16 at the Ballroom at Boothwyn, 1405 Meetinghouse Road, Upper Chichester Township.
“The banquet will proudly honor senior student-athletes who have excelled in competition, in the classroom and in the community,” said Delaware County Chapter president Katie Rose Thornton.
Among those to be honored will be the Bo and Kelly Ryan Scholar-Athletes of the Year Maddie Wood of Garnet Valley and Sam Milligan of Strath Haven.
Wood is a two-time Daily Times Volleyball Player of the Year while Milligan is a two-time All-Delco football selection who also qualified for the PIAA Wrestling Championships.
Two awards will be presented for the first time.
