In what has to be considered one of the most frustrating attempts at broadcasting a game, our broadcast last night never made it “on the air” until the last 5 minutes of the first quarter.
Our computer systems told us everything was normal and broadcasting but a failure at HUDL never accepted the original broadcast and we didn’t know until viewers started calling. It was corrected pretty quickly once we brought it to HUDL’s attention but then we had some other issues in the booth that forced us to reset the game two more times.
To add insult to injury the system got muted during the band performance so no sound. Ugh!
It was not one of our better moments and we hope you stick with us as we know our broadcasts will continue to improve. We are sorry for the frustration that many of you felt.
We will have a full “Play-of-the-Game” published tomorrow which will highlight all the scoring for those who missed it.
